ABOUT ME
LIFE VERSE
"Let not the wise boast of their wisdom
or the strong boast of their strength
or the rich obast of their riches,
but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight."
declares the Lord.
—Jeremiah 9:23-24
Pastor
I served as solo pastor in two churches and lead pastor in three others. This includes the planting of a new church. Every church served has been left stronger, and positioned to go on to greater effectiveness for Christ. I ministered in both Canada and the United States.
Teacher
I have taught homiletics in both under-graduate and graduate schools in the United States, Canada and India. Additional pastors conferences have been held in Albania and South Africa. Teaching the Word of God with clarity and simplicity remains my objective.
Missions Advocate
Being engaged and engaging others in global mission remains a passion. I have served on mission boards, led short-term mission projects and worked with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada to engage Canadian churches in the fight against AIDS in Africa.
Mentor
What a joy to look back on four significant men in my life who took time to mentored me. I would love to spend the rest of my life pouring myself into the lives of future leaders who will impact our world for Jesus. Teach faithful disciples who will teach others.
Husband & Father
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Marybeth, for more than 45 years. Our two daughters have graced us with great sons-in-law and four wonderful grandchildren.
